The mission of ACEITES ALBERT, S.A. is the packaging and wholesale and retail sale of edible oils, as well as the distribution of table sauces, olives and vinegars, with the highest levels of quality and respect for the environment, directing all the resources and efforts of the company to meet the requirements of our products, the requirements of our customers, legal and regulatory requirements, as well as other product requirements that may be applicable (Organic, Halal, Kosher, etc).

The main objective of ACEITES ALBERT, S.A. is to achieve the maximum satisfaction of all the interested parties in the fulfillment of this mission. Therefore, the whole organization is involved in the achievement of the continuous improvement of the quality of our products, always taking care of the prevention of environmental pollution and under the premise of maximum food safety. The company’s management promotes food safety culture by communicating values, policies and responsibilities regarding food safety and providing training to all employees for the proper performance of their tasks.

Our Quality, Environmental and Food Safety Management System is based on the UNE-EN ISO 9001, UNE-EN ISO 14001 and IFS Food standards, respectively, and provides the framework to achieve the following general objectives:

  • To provide our customers with confidence in our technical capacity, availability, diligence, respect for the environment, sustainability, reliability, food safety, product quality, legality, authenticity, ethical and personal responsibility in the provision of our services.
  • To have sufficient flexibility to adapt to the requirements of our customers in a changing, dynamic and competitive environment.
  • To have sufficiently trained and motivated personnel to achieve process improvement, food safety, sustainability and focus on the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
  • To ensure profitability that guarantees the maintenance of the company in an increasingly competitive market, creating economic value for shareholders in a solid and lasting way.
  • To prevent food fraud and ensure Food Defense.
  • Prevent the commission of crimes and any kind of bribery, active or passive.

ACEITES ALBERT, S.A. undertakes to provide the necessary means to achieve these objectives, which will be achieved through the implementation of the following guidelines:

  • Each member of the organization contributes from his or her job to make the company’s objectives a reality.
  • Each job must be done correctly from the beginning, thus guaranteeing the quality and food safety of the product and helping to meet the objectives of profitability and sustainability.
  • All personnel should have a proactive attitude of improvement and be involved in the detection, analysis and correction of defects, inefficiencies and bad practices that cause problems, as well as in the elimination of their causes.
  • All personnel must take into account the environmental aspects related to their activity in all phases of its development, in order to minimize the impact it may cause on the environment and promote a rational use of resources.
  • Maintain permanent contact with our collaborators in order to improve the quality and food safety of our products and encourage their involvement in environmental issues (with emphasis on waste reduction and proper management).
  • Any person who suspects the commission of a possible crime or bribery shall report it to the criminal compliance body, without any retaliation being taken against him/her, as confidentiality is guaranteed at all times. If the potential perpetrator is the person designated as compliance officer, he/she may directly contact any member of the board of directors. The criminal compliance body has full and complete autonomy to investigate the possible commission of crimes and bring it to the attention of the governing body.
