The mission of ACEITES ALBERT, S.A. is the packaging and wholesale and retail sale of edible oils, as well as the distribution of vinegars, with the highest levels of quality, respecting the environment and firmly committed to the law on the prevention of losses and food waste in accordance with current regulations, directing all the resources and efforts of the company to meet the requirements of our products, the requirements of our customers, legal and regulatory requirements, as well as other product requirements that may apply (Ecological, Halal, Kosher, etc).
The main objective of ACEITES ALBERT, S.A. is to achieve the maximum satisfaction of all stakeholders in fulfilling this mission. Consequently, the entire organization is involved in the continuous improvement of the quality of our products, always ensuring the prevention of environmental contamination and under the premise of maximum food safety. The company's management promotes a food safety culture by communicating values, policies, and responsibilities regarding food safety and providing training to all employees for the proper development of their tasks.
Our Quality, Environmental, and Food Safety Management System is based on the UNE-EN ISO 14001 standard and the IFS Food standard, respectively, and provides the framework to achieve the following general objectives:
- To provide confidence to our clients about our technical capability by supporting them in the development of each of their projects, availability, diligence, respect for the environment, sustainability, reliability, food safety, product quality, legality, authenticity, ethical responsibility, and personal commitment in the provision of our services. To have sufficient flexibility to adapt to our clients' requirements in a changing, dynamic, and competitive environment.
- To have staff with continuous and updated training and sufficient motivation, thus achieving the improvement of processes, food safety, sustainability, and a focus on the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
- To ensure profitability that guarantees the maintenance of the company in an increasingly competitive market, creating economic value for shareholders in a solid and lasting way. To prevent food fraud and ensure Food Defense.
To prevent the commission of crimes and any type of bribery, active or passive.
ACEITES ALBERT, S.A. is committed to providing the necessary means to achieve these objectives, which will be reached through the implementation of the following guidelines:
- Each member of the organization contributes from their position to make the company's objectives a reality. Each job must be done correctly from the beginning, thus ensuring the quality and food safety of the product and helping to meet the objectives of profitability and sustainability.
- All staff must have a proactive attitude towards improvement and be involved in the detection, analysis, and correction of defects, inefficiencies, and bad practices that cause problems, as well as in eliminating their causes. All staff must take into account the environmental aspects related to their activity at all stages of its development, to minimize the impact it may have on the environment and promote a rational use of resources.
- Maintain permanent contacts with our collaborators in order to achieve the improvement of the quality and food safety of our products and encourage their involvement in environmental aspects (emphasizing waste reduction and its proper management).
- Anyone who suspects the commission of a possible crime or bribery will inform the compliance body, without any type of retaliation against them and ensuring confidentiality at all times. If the possible perpetrator is the person designated as compliance, they may directly approach any member of the board of directors. The compliance body has full and total autonomy to investigate the possible commission of crimes and inform the governing body.
The adoption of this Policy and the accountability of everyone in its implementation is an essential requirement to fulfill our mission and achieve the intended objectives.
